NHS Pharmacy First Scotland is a consultation service offered by local Pharmacies to encourage patients to visit their local community pharmacy as the first port of call for minor illnesses and common clinical conditions.
They can help manage conditions by discussing appropriate self-care advice, they can also supply appropriate treatment and discuss what to do if symptoms do not improve or if they are unable to help will refer to another healthcare professional if appropriate.
